fall portraits

Friends from church have their annual family photo taken against the backdrop of the fall foliage. I thought I could copy the results for Pene's fall photo. Pene hasn't actually had fall photos, so this is her first (and possibly last) annual fall photo series.

unhappy travelers

black lines really make it 'pop'

When I was 'little' (not sure when that stage ended) I outlined all my coloring pages with black or a dark line of the color within that area. I didn't ever do much shading or blending colors, but made sure the lines were defined, and then some.

Fall photos

Once again, I didn't see the flower until I had the image on the screen.

There are so many photos that it would be quite funny to get a picture of the person taking the picture while they were taking the picture.

couple of mushrooms and some trees

This last week I was able to make a lesson utilizing many of the photos that I've taken of bugs and such. The lesson would've involved more identifications if I had thought of the idea in enough time to print more photos and not just use the ones that I had in albums somewhere. So now, perhaps someday, there will be a use for pictures of mushrooms.

Dropping mushroom trail.

Puff balls.

I think the rows of pine trees are a bit surreal. I have yet to capture the way they make me feel though.

Pene found the jeep. (I was using Josh's jeep while while the clutch line on my car was being fixed.) If it hadn't been for all the signs saying 'no vehicles' I would've taken the jeep out mushroom squashing.
